Today I went to a summer camp expo, so I could find some kind of activity to keep Grady entertained this summer. The YMCA closest to me offers...get this...a two week long Harry Potter Wizardry camp for kids 5-8. Adios 2011. You started out swell. I had a baby and I quit my job. Then your turned quite shitty - my mom was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and spent much of the year recovering from major surgery and getting chemo. Turns out I didn't need to be induced this Friday. My son decided to come out all on his own. I went into labor around 3:30 am Tuesday morning. And thanks to a snowstorm and us not being able to find someone who could get to our house to watch the big boy, I ended up doing my entire early labor at home. My kid is in bed right now, not napping because he's almost outgrown those.  But I still make him lie down for an hour every afternoon to rest up give me some peace.  He's singing a tuneless song with the words dum dum dum dum dumb.  It reminds me of the South Park Mormon song.
